We'd like Flying Squirrel to be a place in the community for families to exchange resources and ideas. We look for toys and clothing that we love and try to avoid what we consider unnecessarily high prices - We want families as well as gift givers to shop here. Thank you to our wonderful customers for your support, friendship and advice!

Selling Merchandise

Flying Squirrel buys by appointment only. No drop-offs!!!

All items must be in closed plastic bags or containers.

Flying Squirrel accepts clothing, accessories, toys, equipment, and furniture for ages infant to 10 years.

Please bring no more than 2 bags/containers per appointment.

All items must be in good condition and for the current season.

The seller can elect either store credit or cash.

Store credit: 50% toward the purchase of used merchandise --or-- 25% toward the purchase of new merchandise. This amount will be listed on the Selling slip. Please retain the slip for future purchases. the seller is solely responsible for the selling slip!

Cash: 25% cash (amounts over $25 will be in the form of a check).

Consignment of Clothing, Toys and Furniture

Seller is entitled to retain 50% of the purchase price.

Please contact the seller, Flying Squirrel, for the status of your consigned item(s). The seller is not responsible to contact the consignee regarding the status of the item(s).

The seller reserves the right to lower the sale price of items left in the store for over 2 months.

The seller will not accept responsibility for theft or damage of merchandise. The consigned merchandise will not be covered by insurance while it is in Flying Squirrel possession.

Consignee agrees to leave the merchandise with Seller for a minimum of 30 days. Should the consignee decide to collect the items before the end of this period, Flying Squirrel requires 48hrs notice to gather the consigned items and prepare them to be returned to the consignee.

Should the merchandise remain unsold at the end of the consignment period, Flying Squirrel will contact the consignee and request that the they remove the item(s) from the store within 1 week from the contact date. Flying Squirrel will remove the items from the selling floor at this time. Please note that all unclaimed items will become the property of Flying Squirrel after this 1 WEEK period.

Flying Squirrel’s prices are non-negotiable.
